Transparent fees
At Maket, we believe in total transparency. Here's how our fees work:
For buyers
- Platform fees: 0 FCFA - Buying is free!
- Shipping fees: Vary by distance (shown before payment)
For sellers
- Create a listing: Free
- Selling commission: 25% of the sale price
- Commission payment: Automatically deducted on sale
Concrete example
You sell an item for 10,000 FCFA:
- Sale price: 10,000 FCFA
- Maket commission (25%): 2,500 FCFA
- You receive: 7,500 FCFA
When do you get paid?
Payment is released 3 days after buyer confirmation, or automatically after 7 days.
Good to know: There are no hidden fees. The amount you see is the final amount.
